Video Customer Support tool

Client & the Business Case:
A leading bank with more than 1000 branches in the country.The bank has a loyal customer base that live outside the country of its operations and where is contact center is located. The intention was to provide the customers a cost effective and convenient channel to reach out to the bank especially for its overseas customers. A complete web based near real time communication solution was expected.

An Omni channel support solution that integrated text, audio and video was perceived, giving the customer a choice of channels to interact with. A simple to use web solution that relied on flash players ubiquity was thought about. With flash player and wowza server at its core a streaming solution combined with a queuing engine provided the necessary way.

Wowza Media server, Java, Flex, H.264, flv file formats, ffmpeg, flash player.
