Video Customer support on Android & iOS

Client & the Business Case:
A leading bank with an existing web based customer support tool with in built video and audio capability.The bank wanted an innovative and quick access channel for its customer support to be provided to its customers. They had an existing customer support tool that worked on the browsers.

iOS is a tricky OS when it comes to real time two way video communication. The built in support to stream back video over RTMP protocols are limited. A widely used library to send video on RTMP was selected and the native HTTP based streaming down to the device was tweaked to provide a low latency solution.

Objective C, RTMP library (xxx), HTTP streaming, Wowza media server, Java.
