Chimera wins an offshore development contract for a customized
content management application and enhancements from a leading
Web design and Web strategy firm formed by a group of patent
holding ex-Microsoft personnel. The engagement spans over an
year for supporting the onsite team for their IT needs.
May 2006
Chimera starts an offshore relation with a seatle based
provider of enterprise software and professional services
organization. This time it is for its testing services. Test
engineers from Chimera would be engaged along with a group of
similar personel around the world to black box test a large web
application.
June 2006
Chimera develops and delivers successfully a CSS based,
accessibility compliant content management system. The challenge
was to incorporate the ADA/508 compliance into a newly developed
custom content management system. The site had to pass stringent
tests with online testing tools for cross browser compatibility
and accessibility.
September 2006
Signed up a contract with a leading telecommunication company
to develop a model that integrates all application, so that data
is not initiated in more than one system. The goals are to be
achieved by creating a system that integrates all applications.
Major modules are Accounting, billing, maps, operations, product
management, provisioning, sales, telecom network, and time
system. It is expected that future users of the system will want
to use off-the-shelf components for many of the standard
functions. The main challenge is the Transaction Management in
web application and to integrate the IBM AS400 /DB2 Systems with
the new application.
