SaaS Product Development

Technologies with multi tenant capabilities and skinning capabilities could be taken as an advantage to overcome the long framework development that delays the products to the market. Our capabilities to build applications using O/R Mapper tools usinng LLBLGenpro provide clean architecture & code, quick development and an enjoyable offshore partnership. While these techniques provide an efficient software platform, our strict agile processes ensure clear visibility into the product development stages.
DotNetNuke is used as an application platform that hosts account information, security and personalization settings. Custom Modules are built using LLBLGenPro that generates the entire set of entities and Data access components required simultaneously providing database independencies. Multi tenancy with multiple databases is achieved with run time identification of the tenant and using appropriate databases for transactional data.
As the world is gearing towards SaaS architecture, this technology combination also helps us to achieve the SaaS Architecture. An example of a typical SaaS architecture using DNN and LLBLGENPRO is depicted below.

The Client
Sangeetha Mobile is a leading mobile retail outlet with its presence across various states in India.
The need was to revamp their website as well as widen their horizons to reach out to a larger target market by providing the best shopping experience to the consumer.
Business Need
The requirement of the client was to provide them an online presence where customers could read reviews on various brands of mobile phones available in the market, get detailed features about the phones, as well as get comparisons of various brands. This information would enable the consumer to make an informed decision before he purchases a mobile handset. The need was to also provide the client with a storefront and an integrated payment gateway which would enable the customer to purchase any phone of his choice available in the market.
The Solution
Chimera leveraged its knowledge and vast experience on the E-Commerce Domain and its consulting capabilities combined with its web technology expertise to develop a highly scalable application. This application has helped the brand to widen its customer base now catering to a whole new market segment thereby increasing their sales revenues. Anand Sweets has been in existence since twenty years and specializes in creating unique Indian sweets and savories with unparalleled quality. They are known for their innovative selections and traditional flavors. Anand Sweets is the leader in the premium Indian Sweets category and brings the best of Indian Sweets to the world.
Business Need
As the Indian Tradition goes for every occasion traditional sweets should mark the beginning and the end of any occasion. Keeping this in mind Anand Sweets wanted to create an online presence which would enable people to gift sweets to their near and dear ones during any special occasion. The need was to create a storefront with an integrated payment gateway wherein customers could order and purchase their products online. The requirement was also to create a robust system for the back office to track orders and deliveries across various states in India.
The Solution
Chimera built a custom storefront for Anand Sweets which enabled the staff to track and process orders from all around the world and deliver the goods to various places in India. The administrator was given the sole rights to track orders, payments and deliveries as well as upload the site with the latest sweets that are invented by the master chef as well as update rates of the various sweets and savories.
With Chimera’s symbiotic engagement model the client is able to optimize their investments and with our IT capabilities we are building the brand together to make Anand Sweets a brand to reckon with.
