The Need :
To have a web-based kiosk application that will allow tourists to browse a catalog of business establishments. In addition it should also allow the users to talk to the businesses. An overhead display should be displaying a sequence of advertisements.
The Solution :
A web-based application was developed that was referenced inside a kiosk lockdown component. The web application provided an interface for visitors to browse or search for various business and places of interest, places to eat, places to stay etc. In addition all screens carry advertisements on a predefined logic that control its display. The software also facilitated the user to call any of the displayed businesses directly from the kiosk. An onscreen map of the location of the member is made available.
