Client:
A Singapore headquartered multinational corporation that is publicly traded and operates in over 130 countries worldwide, focusing on the development of Pharmaceuticals, MedTech, and Consumer Health Products.
Challenges:
The client has multiple offices spread across the globe and all the office entries are restricted with NFC card scanner. Employees are required to register for each visit to another office location and this was a tedious process of filling out forms. The client was seeking an alternate option that could essentially be a replacement for the traditional access cards.
Our Solution:
- Built a website that generates digital passes for employees using their unique employee IDs and sync these digital passes in their digital wallets and smart devices.
- These passes can be added to the Apple Wallet on the user iPhones.
- When the User walks-in near to any of the registered office locations, the application auto detects location coordinates and pops-out the Passes on their lock screen.
- A single pass is generated for multi-locations with unique QR Code for each registered user.
- QR code is embedded with the encrypted user information values and location details that can be displayed when QR code is scanned. Pass has validity and expires according to the Role type.
Business Outcome:
Implementing a digital pass system integrated with Apple/ Google wallet functionality has improved.
Access to multiple offices and real-time location tracking.
Attendance tracking.
Security by reducing the risk of unauthorized access or misuse of traditional passes and
Reducing operational costs and enhancing the organization’s overall image.
