Chimera developed a DotNetNuke portal, a web application built from the ground up in the spirit of the shared services business model to improve the childcare management capabilities for both centres and family providers. The idea of a central management and support tool that allows childcare centres and family providers to maintain their local autonomy is the key to a successful shared services business model. The Portal automates the Attendance of Child, Staff, Food Program, Licensing of the Centres and Providers. Separate kiosks for Staff and Child are available for logging the check-in and check-out times. New modules that connect staff attendance to payroll are built.
